What is water resistant laminate flooring?
In the water resistance laminate flooring history this is the third generation.The first generation is black core HDF whith Floor&Decor is dong now and its water resistance performance mostly results from high density of HDF. The second generation is Pergo and Quickstep they are doing ,with low swelling HDF and aqua-seal agent on the edge of V-groove,also with tight click to have water resistance performance .The third generation is Loto Tec. plus laminate from us.
We apply three key technologies to achieve the purpose of water resistance .The first is our new click technology .We strength the pulling of the click ,which will prevent the water penetrating into the bottom of product .Meanwhile ,we apply water-resistance waxing both on the V-groove bevel and the click tongues and the waxing is imported from Germany directly.The third is our specialized HDF. As we tested in the laboratory ,we can control the swelling rate under 10%.For comparison,the swelling rate of the normal HDF is around 18%.You can see that the swelling rate is absolutely well-performed than normal HDF.
